Layering by Drawing Stack

The Layering by Drawing Stack is a year-long project of laying drawings and paintings directly on top of each other on a 30”x20” piece of arches watercolor paper. It will be as if we were making a print on a press with multiple plates. The stacking is by process only, there will be no literal stack when it is complete. Each monthly iteration will be recorded here and preserved only through a digital record, there will only be one final physical work with 12 works layered on top of each other.
